We are looking for...

A young professional with an interest in EU affairs, public relations and event organisation, to integrate the BBE team. The applicant will have a relevant degree, knowledge of the EU institutions and the Brussels ecosystem, and some experience in PR (event organisation, media, etc.). You will be working directly with and assist the EU Affairs Consultant.

This internship could lead to a more long-term employment opportunity.


PR-related tasks

  • Targeted monitoring of the topics that will be addressed during our events;
  • Participation in the preparation of the events: identification of the themes, assisting in the elaboration of the programmes, mapping potential speakers, sponsors, invitees, journalists, participation in preparatory meetings, revision of texts, etc.
  • Writing, editing and sending letters of invitation. Follow-up by email and telephone;
  • Support to the logistic organisation and involvement in the practical hosting of the event.

Consultancy-related tasks

  • Monitoring legislative developments at an EU level for the various files followed by BBE;
  • Assistance the EU Affairs Consultant for projects management (contribute to case studies, mapping of relevant stakeholders related to key files, organisation of contacts, the writing of briefings and reports, etc.)


  • Bachelors in politics, EU affairs, international relations or a related degree;
  • Knowledge of and experience in EU affairs and public relations;
  • Experience in PR (event organisation, media meeting, etc.);
  • Excellent proficiency in English, French and preferably also German;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
