We are looking for...

A young professional with an interest in EU affairs, public relations and event organisation, to integrate the BBE team in charge of the preparation, the coordination and the conduct of various high-level European events in Brussels. The applicant will have a relevant degree, reasonable knowledge of the EU institutions and the Brussels ecosystem, and some previous experience in political communication and event management (event organisation, media, etc.). The applicant would be preferably fluent in English and French. (Any extra language would be a plus)

This internship could lead to a more long-term employment opportunity.


Under the guidance of the event coordination team, the candidate would participate in the following tasks related to the organization of high-level political and industrial events:

  • Mapping of different stakeholders, contact and follow-up;
  • Development of tailor-made extra events (working sessions, VIP Lunches, Cocktails);
  • Support in following-up the sponsorship outreach;
  • Assist the team in charge of the preparation of the program;
  • Liaise with speakers, guests, and communicate with participants (registrations, ad-hoc requests etc.);
  • Elaboration of listing of invitation;
  • Implement the promotional strategy of the event on Twitter, LinkedIn etc.;
  • Co-manage the website of the conference;
  • Liaison with suppliers, designers and with the rest of the team to address their needs and respect deadlines;
  • On-site coordination (official reception, participant management, last minute requests).

The candidate will also gradually take part in the other activities of the office, namely:

  • Legislative and strategic monitoring;
  • Attendance of other European events;
  • Participation in customer meetings;
  • Performing other tasks upon request to contribute to the objectives of Business Bridge Europe.


  • Bachelors in politics, EU affairs, international relations or a related degree;
  • Knowledge of and experience in Communication, Event management and public relations;
  • Excellent proficiency in English, French and preferably also German;
  • Conscious and proactive approach of the job;
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment;
